About the Event:
Hiawatha Elementary School will host a community celebration honoring three community elders at the Hiawatha Elementary School gymnasium on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM. The Elder Wisdom, Children’s Song™ community celebration is brought to you by Community Celebration of Place (501-C-3) in partnership with Minneapolis Public Schools and the West Metro Education Program (WMEP).
Agent Berryman is the officer in charge of all of the Safety Patrols in Minneapolis. He has had a lot of experience in law enforcement and business.
Ken is an art teacher and artist who works at Hiawatha as a bilingual educational assistant. His life experiences are varied and inspiring.
